Miss Elly started as an after work project back in 1989 . At the time I was working with some old time boat builders who had been working at Greavette boats , Port Carling boats and Ditchburn boats , . They all had something to say , but were seldom in agreement as to how a lot of things should be done . I didn’t take many photos at the time Here are a few —One thing I found interesting back in the 90’s when the idea of a new wooden boat was fairly novel . A lot of people would ask me ” where are you building these ? ” –Not everything has to be built in mass quantities .
