1956 was the last year that Greavette boats in Gravenhurst built dispros . The 2 cylinder Coventry Victor with electric start had been in use since 1950 . In 1956 an optional transmision was available . This provided neutral and reverse .The transmision was an independantly mounted from the engine posing a real challenge to align with the device . Only 6 boats were produced in 1956 and I’ve worked on 4 of them . This is one of two that are running with a transmision .
